how to get started
- open a new Google Chrome browser window
- go to https://thegiftguide.com/plugin
- click and drag the ADD TO WISH LIST BROWSER BUTTON into the bookmarks bar located directly under the URL/ address bar
- bookmarks bar not showing? click the 3 vertical dot icon located on the far right side of the URL/ address bar. select “bookmarks”, then click “show bookmarks bar”.
- the bookmarks bar will then appear directly under the URL/ address bar
How to use the add to wish list browser button
- once you have found an item that you would like to add to your WISH LIST, click the ADD TO WISH LIST BROWSER BUTTON located on the bookmarks bar
- a pop-up will appear with an image from the webpage you are visiting. if this is the image of the item you want to add, click the ADD TO WISH LIST BROWSER BUTTON. if you would like to add a different image from the page, select “view more images” on the pop-up and click the image you would like to add
- a new pop-up will appear with the item name and URL pre-populated
- if you would like to add more details (size, color, etc.), click “add more details” and fill out your preferences
- once you are satisfied with the item descriptors, click “add to wish list”
- a confirmation message will appear when the item has been successfully added to your WISH LIST. from here, you can update the item, add more details, or add additional items to your WISH LIST
