adding items to your WISH LIST on THE GIFT GUIDE is easy and can be done in several different locations within the site:
after signing into your profile:
- option 1: click the + button in the top right hand corner of THE GIFT GUIDE website next to your profile icon and select ADD TO WISH LIST
- option 2: click WISH LIST from the site menu, then select the ADD TO WISH LIST button on the left hand side of the screen
- option 3: select DASHBOARD from the site menu. here you will find a preview of your WISH LIST. select the ADD TO WISH LIST button
- option 4: ADD TO WISH LIST BROWSER BUTTON – this feature allows you to quickly add items from other websites with the click of a button. click the following link to INSTALL THE ADD TO WISH LIST BUTTON or check out the following blog post: HOW TO ADD TO YOUR WISH LIST WITH THE BROWSER BUTTON ON THE GIFT GUIDE
HOW TO ADD TO YOUR WISH LIST
- enter the name of the item you wish to add. this can either be specific, such as “UGG GENUINE SHEARLING SLIPPERS” or keep it simple, such as “slippers”
- select the appropriate price point from the drop down list
- include the URL/web address to the specific item, if applicable
- click the “add more detail” button to fill out as many fields as you desire (size, color, quantity, favorite, etc.)
- you can also upload a photo by selecting the upload photo field
- once you have completed adding your desired item details, select the ADD TO WISH LIST button
- once you have added the item, a confirmation will pop up. from here, you can update the item, add more details or add additional items to your WISH LIST
- you can always come back to your WISH LIST to view the items you have previously added and edit them accordingly

- select GIFT GUIDES from the site menu. from here, you can filter by your interests and add items to your WISH LIST with just a single click. you can add items directly from this page by clicking “add to wish list” under the relevant item or by clicking on the item.
- click DASHBOARD from the site menu. here you will find a section titled “explore gift ideas”. you can scroll through items using the arrows or click “explore gift ideas” to take you to the full GIFT GUIDES page
- other profiles – if you find a gift idea you like on another user’s WISH LIST, you can click the item and add it to your WISH LIST by selecting the “add to wish list” button in the bottom right hand corner of the page
- SEARCH – you can also view gift ideas by using the search function located in the top right hand corner of the website
- SOCIAL & BLOG – follow us on our BLOG and social media as we post seasonal ideas and suggestions for upcoming holidays to keep your WISH LIST up to date
